Diana was raised in Hong Kong, who has had a varied professional career from hospitality to media, construction and sustainability. She was educated at Cambridge and Eastern Michigan Universities. For three decades she has had a keen interest in team sports as well as outdoor activities such as sailing, scuba, skiing and hiking. In her early 20’s she developed a particular interest with club-level rugby, long before it became a popular game for local women.
Her involvement in Rugby has given her a keen appreciation for the importance of teamwork and working together to achieve common goals, which has become a guiding principle in all aspects of her personal and professional life. For Diana living a healthy life is a result of combining activity in sports, a positive mental attitude and, of course, a well-balanced diet.
Over the years Diana’s involvement in rugby has expanded from player to coach and subsequently event organisation, mentor and consultant. A strong believer in rugby’s transformative effect, in 2014 she established her NGO, the Rugby Academy Alliance (RAA) to help minority and under-privileged children in HK through their participation in the sport.
As a Director of the Hong Kong Rugby Union (HKRU) she is amongst the first few active females to be appointed to the Board, a role that she takes great pride in and satisfaction from.
Her passion is equality, education and health through wellness and sports. She is totally committed to social issues that have caused so much division and inequality in society. Her charitable work is focused on making a difference and ensuring the causes she champions succeed in their state.
